P Trimborn Agency continuously embarks on improving the occupational health, safety and wellness for their employees. One of our strategies creating awareness is by having a Health Safety and Wellness day for employees. This year our focus was on Diabetics and alcohol abuse. A team from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal encouraged our staff to eat healthy, exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle. HLC (Healthy Living Consulting) nurses checked our blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index and HIV and Aids tests were offered. We had an extremely interesting presentation done on “Addiction and Alcoholism”. Employees were treated to a message and a group of fitness trainers demonstrated the type of exercise employees could do while sitting behind a desk, or in an open area. Wellness day opens the mind to be conscious of one’s self in a fun way. P Trimborn Agency will continue to empower a good healthy relationship with all employees.
